NYPD Internal Affairs Ret. Lt Speaks Up For Joe Sanchez Hispanic Serpico

Mayor De Blasio, Commissioner Bill Bratton:  Please give NYPD Hero Joe Sanchez an honorary
reinstatement. He is not asking for money.  This photo proves he was a decorated NYPD officer.  Joe arrested a lot of drug dealers and he was a whistle blower.    This is part 10 of an on going YouTube documentary with the goal to get Joe an honorary reinstatement

This man should be re-instated for his the integrity, honor and allegiance to the oath his swore upon entering into the office from which he was forced out of by expedient politicians at the time he was exiled.

I've known Joe for several years, we both served in the 1st Cav in Vietnam. I know him to be honorable, patriotic, and very honest. There is no way to measure the years of frustration suffered by this good man and his family because of the injustice brought upon him.

Joe Sanchez got the shaft. Period the end. Stop all the BS and right a wrong that is overdue. No way to treat a hero combat veteran of Vietnam and hero combat yes combat veteran of the concrete jungle on the streets of NYC and other numerous jobs which joe served admirably and HONESTLY because he was FORCED out of the NYPD by the unscrupulous powers that be at the time.time to give joe his pension and his pride back.

I know Joe. He is a thoroughly good person, and he has been a great help to a member of my family. After years of apparent stonewalling and railroading, he deserves to be heard.

Because PO Sanchez lived up to his oath and was punished for doing so. How can we inculcate honesty in our officers if the NYPD punishes those who shine the light of criticism on corruption. Should we not lead by example and correct this injustice?

Because Joe Sanchez was set-up for termination and treated unfairly by NYPD in the past. He deserves to have his good name restored and a retroactive promotion to detective for his heroics.

My uncle Joe has worked hard to clear his name, he is a man of strong character, conviction. He is honorable, he served his country in Vietnam, he served the people of NYC as a police officer. He continued fighting this form of discrimination for years in hopes of clearing his name for his children and us his family. He has been an example to our family or children. He needs to be reinstated and given an honorable retirement.

There is no doubt that Police Officer Joe Sanchez was denied justice having been falsely accused by NYPD Internal Affairs of corruption, of which a jury of his peers exonerated Joe. It is time that the cowardly actions that followed to dismiss Joe Sanchez were wrong. Correct this injustice by allowing this honest individual his rightful pension and restore his name as a true American and honest citizen earning the Purple Heart in the Vietnam conflict for his country.
